Portugal and the Douro River Cruise
2025
A symbol of Portugal’s birth and growth as a nation, the Duoro has long been the country’s lifeline. The adventure begins with two days in the cosmopolitan city of Lisbon before boarding the ship to navigate Portugal’s enchanting countryside on the Duoro River to enjoy a new perspective of Europe. The trip concludes with two days in Madrid, the historically and culturally rich capital of Spain.

Iceland- Land of Fire and Ice
Iceland shared its natural beauty and astounding scenery with the recent travelers on the alumni tour in June 2024. Thunderous waterfalls, fresh lava fields, spouting geysers, and a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon were mingled with other wonderful experiences. The photo was taken at Thingveller National Park where travelers walked between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Rhine River Cruise
Travelers enjoyed sunny days as part of Chadron State alumni travel program’s Rhine River Cruise in June 2023. The trip began in Amsterdam, Netherlands and visited four countries - Holland, Germany, France, and Switzerland. The photo was taken aboard the ship at after an evening social.
Danube Explorer River Cruise
Travelers enjoy the final days of the Chadron State alumni travel program’s Danube River Cruise in May 2022. The trip began in Prague and visited five countries - the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. The photo was taken as the ship departed for the final destination in Budapest.
